diversity, equity, inclusion, & belonging consulting

Are you on track with developing or enhancing your diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging strategy?

problems i solve

  • Building an Inclusive Workplace Culture of Belonging

Culture is the "vibe", the energetic experience of your workplace, or simply, how people feel at work. Do people feel psychologically "safe" to bring their whole selves to work? To be human? Are they engaged? Having fun, building meaningful connections, and feeling on purpose? Do they feel genuinely cared for? Do they feel like they “belong” or do they feel “othered”? I’ll guide you through a cultural needs assessment and audit to get an honest baseline of where you currently are - knowledge that is the foundation of any effective DEIB strategy.

  • Transformational Leadership Development

Transformational leadership is inclusive because it is integrated and embodied. "Walking their talk", the leader IS the energetic transmission of the core values because they have done the personal "heart work" or healing that leads to experiencing true balance, well-being, and wholeness. Transformational leaders are self-aware, courageous, genuinely curious about the experiences of people who are different from them, have a growth mindset, and own their brilliance in ways that inspire others to do the same.

  • Attracting, Engaging, & Retaining Inclusive Talent

Employees that feel seen, understood, valued, and that they belong, do their best work. After a comprehensive cultural needs assessment, we’ll identify and co-create the internal supports needed (ERGs, DEIB Councils, Coaching, for example) to amplify employee perspectives and work more strategically to improve business outcomes.

my approach

cultural needs assessment

You can't get to where you want to go unless you know where you've come from and where you are currently. Together, we'll identify your organization's unique barriers to fostering an inclusive workplace culture where everyone thrives, no matter their background.

visioning/creation

Once you've taken a good look in the mirror, we'll tap into your vision and create a customized, strategic plan to cultivate an inclusive workplace culture that is grounded and sustainable.

implementation

Now that we have a vision and a plan, let's execute. I offer 1-on-1 transformational leadership coaching for executives and team members, as well as trainings and workshops to build the skills necessary to sustain a culture of inclusivity.

my partnership model

retainer

I will work with your organization on an ongoing basis; this model is often useful for those who desire a DEIB thought partner over a long period of time, but don’t require a full-time team member.

Project based

I will work with your organization on a project basis for a defined scope of work; this model is often useful for those who desire consulting services and a customized intensive workshop series to target a specific issue.

culture creation

Ideal for early stage organizations EMBODIED DIVERSITY will partner with you to develop and execute your vision as an advisor or board member with an equity stake. This option is often useful for founders who want to take full advantage of the EMBODIED DIVERSITY services and network.
